Price: 2 dives - 2500baht, Sunset/night - 2800 baht.
Our favourite! This is undoubtedly the best site in the Gulf of Thailand. The pure quantity of fish is breath-taking. Sail Rock also boasts a vertical swim-thru known as ‘the chimney’, and a small air pocket at 16m which your guide will be happy to show you.

Over the last few years we can really use the word ‘frequent’ when describing Whale Shark sightings as they are becoming more and more common. We’re sure you’ll have an excellent time and want to dive here again and again.

We also offer sunset & night dives at Sail Rock.

 

PADI COURSES

Bubblemaker (pool only)

Just for the kiddies (8 & 9 years old). Let them have a great few hours and have something to tell their friends at home about.
Their instructor will think of fun things for them to do such as swimming through hoops, and underwater summersaults and break dancing!!

Discovery Dives – ½ day

Take the opportunity this holiday to see if you like diving. Let your instructor explain the basic principles of scuba and then take your first underwater breaths. Once comfortable you will dive to a maximum depth of 12m and be amazed just how much there is to see.
This experience can be credited towards the PADI Open Water course.

Scuba Diver – 2 dives, 2 nights

This lifetime certification will enable you to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 12m and is perfect if you don’t quite have the time to complete the Open Water course.
You will complete some theory work, swimming pool training and 2 open water dives. After this you are half way to achieving the Open Water licence.

Open Water – 4 dives, 3 nights

The most popular diving course in the world!! On completion you will be able to dive independently with your buddy to 18m. Theory, pool skills and 4 open water dives - what are you waiting for?

Adventure Diver (3 dives) / Advanced open water (5 dives, 2 nights)

Adventures dives include speciality subjects such as Deep, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Multilevel and Computer, Photography, Nitrox and many more. Complete 3 of these dives and achieve the Adventure diver certification, complete 5 and gain the Advanced level licence.>

Rescue – 4 dives, 3 nights

For those looking for a little bit of a challenge this course takes you to the next level as a recreational diver. Learn how to prevent and respond to diver problems while your instructors think of fun scenarios for you to react to.

Dive Master – 6-8 weeks

The first professional level. This internship will teach you every aspect of dive leadership. Involving in-depth dive theory, stamina tests, dive site mapping, assisting instructors and dive skill demonstrations. On completion you will have all the knowledge and attributes to be a fantastic dive guide employable worldwide.

Specialties: We offer many speciality courses for those looking for an extra something from their dive. Involving theory on your chosen subject and some in-water skills specific to that dive, you can choose from Deep, Nitrox, Night, Photography and many more. Please ask your instructor for more details.
ACCOMMODATION
We are proud to be affiliated with Shiralea Backpackers Resort and offer free accommodation for students staying here. Shiralea is a new western owned and managed resort offering great accommodation. Bungalows have queen-size beds, fans and hot water. There is a huge swimming pool with jacuzzi on site and it is just a short 100m walk down to the beach.
